DO NOT USE EXCHANGE OFFICES AT THE AIRPORT OR MAIN TRAIN STATION!

AVOID ATMs of the Euronet company (yellow&blue colour machines)!

The best way is to pay by your credit card which is accepted almost everywhere. If you need to exchange money, the safest and the cheapest way to exchange is via ATM (but beware to avoid Euronet ATMs which have terrible fees). Try to also avoid changing the money on a street and changing the money in exchange offices at the airport or at the main station! Not that we would want to make a bad picture of Prague but most of the people in exchange offices are frauds trying to rip off poor tourists and foreigners.

You can use ATM nearby the hostel (200 m walking) ATM (Komerční Banka) address - Spálená 108/51, 110 00 Prague

There are also some tips for approved exchange offices where they will not rip you off:

• Tourist Information Centre - address - Na Můstku, Rytířská 12, Praha 1
• Exchange Kaprova 14/13 - address - next to Franz Kafka square (entrance at the corner)
• Černá růže - address - Na Příkopě 12, Praha 1
